After the post about free museums in Warsaw appeared, you asked if there are some in Cracow. There are! That’s why I’ve created a list of Cracow museums that have free entry on selected days or all the time.
You will find below a list of free museums for each day, while there are certainly many more such places in Cracow, so if you miss something – write to me. Whether in a comment or in a direct message to me.

Free Museums in Cracow – Here We Go!
It is worth knowing that the more popular museums, especially in summer, are overcrowded and queues reach an hour or two of waiting. That’s why it’s definitely worth checking if you can book entrance online – in some cases, like Schindler’s Factory, you’ll need to do so, because entrance tickets sell out like fresh buns (you can book online at the earliest two weeks in advance, I checked on August 5 and there were 6 places left for next two weeks!).
Remember that on the Night of Museums in Cracow, Cracow museums have free admission! This means that dozens of museums in the city can be visited for free.
Which museums in Cracow are of most interest to tourists? Definitely the Wawel Royal Castle. And we’ll start with it! In this case, you can not book online, you need to pick up an entrance pass at the ticket office.
Wawel Royal Castle Free of Charge
Free admission depends on the exhibition, and from what I’ve heard, the day changes from time to time. That’s why it’s a good idea to check the Royal Castle’s official website before going on a tour. Likewise for other museums – it’s better to make sure before you leave home!
