Where to Stay in Warsaw? Hotels and Apartments in the Polish Capital

Are you planning a visit to Warsaw and wondering where to stay? Are you looking for practical options at good prices, or something more unique?

Before I moved to Warsaw, I used to visit regularly, and I’d be happy to share my insights, trying to answer the simple question: where to stay in Warsaw?

Warsaw has a lot to offer, not only in terms of attractions but also in terms of accommodation. It has a rich array of options, making it sometimes difficult to choose. So, I’m here to help and recommend some interesting accommodations in the city center and various beautiful neighborhoods of our capital.

Where to Stay in Warsaw?

You can opt for well-known and popular hotels or more niche options. Let’s start with hotel accommodations and options from the so-called upper shelf. These won’t be cheap accommodations in Warsaw, but let’s take it step by step.

Of course, I’ll also suggest many interesting options for budget travelers, but still in good locations and satisfying standards.

Hotels in Warsaw City Center

If you’re looking for luxury and want to stay in the heart of the city, the Marriott Hotel Warsaw is an excellent choice. Marriott offers the highest quality service; it’s a five-star hotel.

What will draw you to this place? Certainly, the rooms with a view. There are 523 of them, and each offers a stunning view of the city. Of course, the higher, the better, so it’s best to choose accommodation on one of the higher floors, like the 43rd. ?

You’ll also find the highest bar in Poland here, the Panorama Sky Bar, which will treat you not only to colorful cocktails but, most importantly, a breathtaking view. Even if you don’t decide to stay at this place, it’s worth going for a drink at this bar on the 40th and 41st floors!

You can also visit the Floor No. 2 restaurant, specializing in modern European cuisine, which, once again, captivates with its city view. The average price for a night’s stay in this hotel is around 600 PLN in a deluxe room.

Another beautiful and elegant option is the Hotel Bristol Warsaw, which has been a center of meetings and a kind of heart of cultural life in the capital for many years. The hotel is located on the historic Royal Route, right next to the Presidential Palace, and has been operating since 1901. It’s also a stone’s throw away from the Royal Castle, the Old Town, and the National Opera.

Hotel Bristol Warsaw is a historic building that combines history and luxury with modernity. Exclusive interiors, a majestic neo-renaissance facade, and an excellent location make this place truly exceptional.

You can expect to pay around 800-1200 PLN for a night’s stay in this five-star hotel. You can relax not only in elegant interiors but also on the picturesque terrace with a view of the city. The hotel also has a spa and a biological renewal center, which certainly contributes to relaxation.

My next suggestion for those craving comfort and a high standard is the Hotel Intercontinental Warsaw. This five-star property is located in the very center of the city and is famous for its long pool with a view of the Palace of Culture. You probably know this pool from many movies and TV series.

You’ll find many spacious and well-equipped rooms and apartments here, and each of them offers a captivating view of the city. Prices for accommodation at the Hotel Intercontinental Warsaw start at 600 PLN. You can choose options for both breakfast and dinner.

The above-mentioned hotels in the center of Warsaw represent the top tier when it comes to luxury, convenience, location, and comfort.

Another interesting choice may be the Glam Apartments City Center, an apartment hotel. The property offers nice accommodations in beautiful apartments with balconies in the city center and a view of the Palace of Culture. This place is highly rated, so staying there will certainly be a pleasure.

The apartments have all the amenities you need, such as air conditioning, a kitchenette with a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a TV, and even a minibar. The price for a stay for two people is in the range of 600-700 PLN.

The above suggestions are the best hotels in the center of Warsaw. However, if you’re looking for other, slightly more budget-friendly options, let’s move on.

Cheap hotels in Warsaw

When looking for cheap accommodations in Warsaw, you’ll definitely move away from five- or four-star properties. So, I have other suggestions for you.

Hotel Gromada Warsaw is a three-star option. The property is located in the city center, just 400 meters from the popular Nowy Åšwiat street. You might not find luxury here, but you can count on comfort, convenience, and, of course, an excellent location.

This is a hotel with a tradition; the hotel’s restaurant offers Polish and Slavic cuisine, and the property in Warsaw has been in operation since 1961. Hotel Gromada Warsaw is certainly an interesting choice at a good price, with accommodation starting at 250 PLN per night.

The Ibis Warsaw Hotel offers several properties in different parts of the city and with different standards. You can choose hotels in the center, in Wola, in Praga Południe, and in Ochota. Regardless of the property you choose, you can count on affordable accommodations, starting at 189 PLN per night.

Like Hotel Gromada, the Ibis Warsaw Hotel can certainly be considered one of the budget-friendly hotels in Warsaw.

Let’s take a break from typical hotels for a moment; I have an interesting suggestion for budget accommodations with a unique concept. Loft Hotel Sen PszczoÅ‚y or Loft Hotel Przychodnia offers exceptional accommodations in the city center.

These places offer accommodations in interesting, non-obvious interiors in the heart of Warsaw. The hotel operates in the form of apartments. You can choose an option with breakfast, and the prices for accommodations start at 200 PLN. You’ll find everything you need, from rooms with bathrooms to air conditioning, a TV, and a comfortable kitchenette.

Although it might seem that accommodations in the city center are the most expensive, these places show that it can be different.

Hotels in Wola, Warsaw

Among the best-rated hotels, many of them are located in Wola. Here are a few suggestions that might catch your attention:

  • K&M Apartments – the property is located near DaszyÅ„skiego Roundabout and offers free parking and Netflix in the package.
  • Royal Tulip Warsaw Apartments – the hotel offers fantastic breakfasts and rooms on high floors.
  • Wola Loft Apartment – it offers interesting interiors, private parking, and proximity to the Warszawa Zachodnia station.

In this district, the Hilton Warsaw Hotel deserves special attention. This four-star property is a bit further from the city center, in a business district. However, you’re still close to all the attractions, shops, museums, and vibrant restaurants.

It’s only a 30-minute walk from the city center and just 20 minutes by car from the airport. There’s also a metro station nearby, allowing you to reach many places. The hotel has a spa with a 25-meter pool and a large gym. Accommodations at the Hilton Warsaw Hotel cost around 600 PLN per night.

Hotels in Praga, Warsaw

You’ll find many interesting options in the popular Warsaw district of Praga. I suggest these places for a comfortable stay in the capital:

As you can see, there are plenty of options for accommodations in Warsaw. You can choose more expensive or cheaper properties, with basic amenities or with pools and spas. It all depends on your preferences!
